Hearst Castle Trip

Hearst Castle is both a National and California Historic Landmark found in a little place called San Simeon. The castle was owned by magnate William Randolph Hearst, and man whose career inspired the film Citizen Kane. I was lucky enough to get a chance to go on my way to San Francisco from Los Angeles. The Castle has one of the most beautiful indoor pools I have ever seen and is decorated with fine art from all over the world.

The estate is so huge that it used to have its own zoo and movie theater. The mansion was visited by some of the most important people during that time and included important politicians such as Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill. I recommend visiting Hearst Castle to anybody who enjoys fine architecture and history. You will not regret it.
